Johnny Miller will be at Carl's Golfland in July

Miller's Competitive Career
     The golden boy of golf-- Johnny Miller and winner of two major titles and 25 PGA golf events will be on hand at Carl’s Golfland as part of a Callaway golf clinic. Miller is now the NBC Lead Golf Analyst and has covered golf as a broadcaster since the early 1990’s. Miller is appearing as part of The Callaway Professional Staff and is appearing to give both a clinic and participate in a question and answer session with golf fans. Callaway will be hosting a Demo Day and  on Friday, July 13th. starting at 2pm where they can test the latest Callaway equipment.  preceeding Miller's scheduled 7pm appearance. Miller will be in town as part of his broadcasting responsibilities for both The Golf Channel and NBC Sports covering the Senior U.S. Open at Indianwood Country Club.

   Miller burst onto the PGA scene in 1966 as an amateur and qualified for the 1966 U.S. Open at the Olympic Club where he used his knowledge of the course to help him finish in a tie for eighth place. Besides his candid observations of PGA Tour Play, he is best known for winning the 1973 U.S. Open at Oakmont where he shot a 63 in the final round and went on to the tournament. He also won the 1976 British Open and has several more runner-up finishes in majors. He is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Carl’s will limit those that can attend the event and you can stop by their locations in Bloomfield Hills and Plymouth to reserve your spot.
