Indianwood has Committments from Three Top US Senior Open Players

Fred Couples is the co-leader after 36 holes of
the 2012 Masters
A few weeks ago Keith Aldridge, the US Senior Open Tournament Director had commitments from one of the top three players on the 50 and above PGA Tour. This week the tournament has three. The 2012 U.S. Senior Open is shaping up to have a stellar field for the tournment at Indianwood Golf and Country Club on July 9th-15th led by Fred Couples and the company joining him is stellar.

Tom Watson has never won a Senior US Open but Indianwood may provide a platform for him to earn his first as he has made the committment and he has company. Tom Kite was one of the most consistent winners on the PGA Tour from the mid-1980's on and is always a threat to win in any given week. Other notable PGA Tour stars playing include Mark O'Meara, Bernhard Langer (2010 Champion) and Hale Irwin. Olin Browne, the 2011 Senior Open Champion has already committed and will defend his championship at a course very few PGA Tour stars have ever played.

One player Indianwood is crossing their fingers for a committment is Greg Norman. Norman is not playing regularly these days but could still commit in the coming weeks.
