The Intimidating Tiger is Only Scary at the Practice Range

It has been 16 months since the Club over the Head heard around the world was swung by Elin (The former Ms. Tiger Woods) Nordegren. Tiger was already four months past his July 2009 surgery on his knee and was recoverying for the 2010 party scene (I mean the playground formerly known as the PGA Tour). Woods spent last season unable to find his form and undergoing his third swing change since joining the tour in 1997. What has happened since the incident is a bunch of PGA players have been dividing up the money that Tiger used to use as Chucky Cheese birthday booth where kids chased the dollars.
Take for instance Gary Woodland. Woodland is one of many young American golfers that can hit it a country mile off the tee. Woodland took only 33 PGA starts to win his first event and is a threat to win it every week.
Tiger is finding it out that America does not like you in the middle of your career. Martina Navratilova once said, "They loved me in the beginning and the end of my career and not very much in the middle." Tiger is finding out that he is in the middle of his career and at a fork in the road. He knows and we know he has been knocked down and he did a Charlie Brown whiff kick to his career. He told numerous interviewers he likes his game on the driving range. Heck, the entire PGA Tour does as well as as long as Tiger plays like a champ on the range and not between the ropes, everyone makes money and Tiger has one more day to go all 'Charlie Brown' why is everyone picking on me? One person picking on Tiger is Elin. The former Mr. Woods formerly known as Tiger found out his ex- spent 12.2 million dollars on an oceanfront property in North Palm Beach. The 4,700 square foot basement of the home could be the front nine for the next Bayhill as the 12,000 plus square feet upstairs is enough for Tiger to play the back nine and to wonder where it all went wrong.
